Lately

WELL WELL WELL ....it has been a LONG time since i have posted on this blog but i finally found a SPARE MOMENT...so this is so sad but i hardly have ANY pictures of Ryder...it just seems i never have a camera handy when i need one...but anyways we have had a lot going on the past few months
1. Ryder is potty trained !!!
2. Ryder is sleeping in his own bed (most of the time)
3. We went to Las Vegas (and didn't win any money)
4. And finally the most exciting news Ryder is going to be a BIG BROTHER in October (we will have our hands FULL)

So here are a few pictures of Ryder lately..starting with Fishing with PAPA..this is his new favorite activity...suprisingly they catch fish on this tiny pole....:)

These two are quite the pair...they had their matching Merry Madagascar jammies..and had a fun time jumping off grandma susan's coffee table!!! Poor ryder he don't have the hops like lennox!! :) I tried to upload a funny video of them wrestling ..but i did not succeed..i will try again sometime!! anyways ENJOY!....Stay tuned for New years eve pictures!! :)

Family Traditions

Well these are all kind of random pictures of our families at all of the christmas parties we attended!!!

This is Erin & I with our grandparents....they are Winter Texans and flew back for 2 days to be with our BIG family!!!

This wreath has a bulb on it for EVERY family member...there were 4 kids and now they all have kids..and we all have kids..the wreath is going to have to turn to a TREE!!! My mom and aunt call it the "Days of Our Lives Wreath" those of you who are days fans may know that!! HAHA

Erin and I wanted pictures in the pretty snow....of course our husbands DID NOT want to but i forced Josh...here is the one and only we took!! HAHA

Santa Came To Town

Santa came to town......

Christmas Eve....Ryder got all dressed in his christmas jammies with Polar Bears....
He put out carrots for the reindeer.....cookies for santa..and milk for santa...(wanting to eat them himself)

He woke up with some SERIOUS bed head...and Wet pants of course!! )notice the not so matching jammies anymore!! :)..but what did he find..a brand new train table (that takes up too much room in our house!!) but he was happy!

Then it was time to help the dogs open their stockings..Mossy liked her tennis balls!!

Oh ya and we woke up to inches of snow on christmas morning...not very often you get a White Christmas!!!

Getting ready for CHRISTMAS!!!

Well christmas is almost here...and we are getting ready in the Newton Household..from baking cookies (and playing with cookie dough)..to playing with our now 60 pound lab....to thinking Ryder is pretty cute wearing his Santa HAT!! :) Ryder is starting to understand christmas and making the holidays a LOT of fun for us!!! So we've been busy making cookies..wrapping presents...and attempting to sleep in our own bed (so mommy can put our his presents on christmas eve)....this process is slow and lately has been taking me falling asleep in his bed with him to get him to stay there!!! oh ya and him waking up at 5 am wanting mommy to sing "Rudolph..the reindeer"..ya me singing at 5am is NOT good sounding!! but it works for him!! HAHA....Well everyone have a safe and happy holiday as i'm sure we will!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

TURNING TWO & BOO!!!

Well it has been almost 2 months since i updated this blog...I have been SUPER busy with a new little side job (NV PHOTO...erin and i are taking pictures now..check it out www.nvphotoedge.blospot.com). Anyways..so i have had NO TIME!!! A lot has happened in the last 2 months..starting with the biggest thing..Ryder turned TWO...where has the time gone..i can't believe it!!! Anyways we celebrated numerous ways..starting with a trip to the zoo in KC..which he loved..it was a long day and we had fun..(Thanks to EVERYONE that came and celebrated with us..we hope you had a good time too) Here are some pics from the zoo!

BIRTHDAY PARTY #1

We started the birthday celebrations with a little party at Grandma Marilyn's and Papa Pokes..we had a fun time..here are some pics!!

We ended the birthday parties with a bonfire at Papa & Mi Mi's ...the boys had a blast and of course he was spoiled with more presents!!

We got together a few weeks ago to take some pics together for christmas cards etc. They turned out pretty cute considering trying to get a 5 month old and 2 year old to look at the same time!! We also did some with the Eldridge crew...(i didn't have any to upload..but will add some later)

BOO!!!! HALLOWEEN 2009

Well we made it through halloween...Ryder was a bit cranky so no GOOD pictures of him. ..We dressed up as a family this year..TOP GUN STYLE..lol...Erin had a 80s party so Josh and I were Maverick and Charlie..so without any other costume ideas for ry ry he ended up being Goose with his own little flight suit!! It was cute..he got LOTS of candy and is already wanting chocolate.chocolate..etc Thanks to everyone for all the goodies..!!
